Ye (Tyler) Li, M.D., Ph.D. joined the In Vivo group of the Drug Discovery Division as a Staff Scientist I in November, 2019. His research mainly focuses on developing novel therapeutics for cognitive impairment associated with neuropsychiatric disorders. He conducts this research by utilizing cutting-edge techniques in neuroscience and molecular biology. Dr. Li received his Ph.D. degree from Wuhan University by a co-training Ph.D. program between Wuhan University and Johns Hopkins University. After his Ph.D. program, he received hus postdoctoral training from Professor Yolken’s Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Li worked in the field of cognitive neuropsychiatry, particularly focusing on the cognitive impairment induced by chronic neuroinflammation in rodent cognitive behavioral models.
