About Pablo
Pablo deLeon joined the Lieber Institute in 2014 after working for Merck as a medicinal chemist for seven years. He contributed to multiple therapeutic programs in neuroscience targeting aspartyl proteases, G protein-coupled receptors, voltage-gated ion channels, and enzymes. He worked within a team of scientists to optimize the physical properties of small molecules with the goal to advance a single candidate into pre-clinical trials. Pablo received his B.S. in Chemistry from UCLA. He is currently working as a Staff Scientist I – Chemist in the Drug Discovery division of the Lieber Institute.
