The award was made official on Tuesday, March 8, at the Johns Hopkins Department of Medicine Research Retreat. This is an especially great honor for Kristi, who is one of very few non-physicians to be awarded the Clinical Research Faculty Award. The announcement also came fittingly on International Women’s Day, which we proudly celebrate for all women in science but Kristi as well for her outstanding achievement!
