Baltimore, MD—June 20, 2017—The Lieber Institute for Brain Development (LIBD) announced today the launch of a newly redesigned website. The new site provides quick and easy access to essential information, while simultaneously offering comprehensive descriptions of the research taking place at the Institute. It also features a brand new mobile-friendly, responsive design.

In an effort to reach the scientific community and lay-friendly readers, the new website uses a content-driven approach to highlight the Institute’s mission to translate genetic insights into next generation treatments for schizophrenia and related developmental brain disorders. Visitors can expect additional content to be released in the coming months, specifically related to the brain disorders that are currently researched at the Institute.

The website also provides an enhanced user experience through its modern, clean design and improved navigation and functionality. Live as of Monday, June 12, the new site is located at the previous address: www.libd.org.

Visitors to the new LIBD.org can expect to find updated staff biographies as well as current career opportunities. For those looking to stay informed on the latest news and events happening at the Institute, visit the News and Events section. Updates include official press releases, events, special announcements, and Institute activities and milestones.
