About Rebecca

Rebecca Freedman joined the Lieber Institute in 2017. Ms. Freedman comes to the Institute from Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, where she advised faculty on all matters relating to intellectual property and licensing. Prior to returning to her hometown of Baltimore, Ms. Freedman worked as an attorney for New York University School of Medicine in the Office of Science and Research.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in History from Barnard College, she received her juris doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she subsequently taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching Negotiation Strategy and coaching the School’s mediation and negotiation teams.
