Madeline Abramson joined the Lieber Institute in August 2024 as a Research Assistant in the Imaging Development Group. She is involved in projects focused on characterizing the neuroanatomical and cellular features of the lateral septum. Prior to joining the Lieber Institute, Madeline worked in Dr. Christine Denny’s lab where she conducted behavioral testing and molecular assays to evaluate the efficacy of novel serotonergic antidepressants in mouse models. Madeline earned her B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College at Columbia University.
