Travos Curtis graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in political science and Islamic studies, later completing a baccalaureate program in science at the University of California Berkely. Prior to joining LIBD, Travis worked as a paramedic for 10 years, first in rural Illinois and then in San Francisco for the past six years. He has also worked as a research assistant with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the CDC on the National HIV Behavior Survey.
