Jason Lynn-Framm is a Research Associate working in Dr. Ran Tao’s lab. He joined the Lieber Institute in 2022. He works within a translational research setting focusing on extracting RNA and DNA from postmortem human brain tissue for future analysis. He obtained his master’s degree in neuroscience from Tulane University in 2022. His previous research work included breast cancer research with the Louisiana Cancer Research Center and nonketotic hyperglycinemia research with the Drake Rayden Foundation. His graduate projects focused on improving spatial memory methodology for patients and rodent disease models with impaired spatial navigation. He continues to pursue his interest in exploring the mysteries of the brain and helping others.
