Ashlyn Walker is a Research Assistant / Liaison for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner with the clinical and Neuropathology Division under the supervision of Dr.Thomas Hyde and Taylor Pinckney (Coordinator). She received a B.A in Biology and Biological Studies from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. While at the University of Virginia her experience was obtained in the UVA Medical School cadaver and anatomy labs assisting with research projects and anatomical classes. At the Lieber Institute, Ashlyn is responsible for choosing and obtaining post mortem specimen and acquiring medical records pertaining to each case.
