Courtney Williams is an Associate Scientist working with Dr. Yankai in the Bioinformatics, Genetics, and Epigenetics group. Her main research focus will be DNA and RNA sequencing using Illumina high-throughput DNA sequencing platforms and assay development. She received a B.A degree in Biological Sciences from UMBC in 2011 and plans to continue her education in Biology in 2014. Prior to working at the Lieber Institute in 2013, she worked at Eurofins as a Micro Lab Tech, screening food products for bacteria.
