Country music singer and songwriter Naomi Judd visited the Institute on Thursday, July 27th to learn more about the work we are doing to better understand the human brain. Naomi is a mental health advocate and recently published a book on her struggles with depression.
Naomi took a tour of the Institute, which included a scientific demonstration in the lab. She then joined CEO and Director, Dr. Weinberger, and several staff members to discuss the exciting research happening at the Institute; recent breakthroughs in medical research; discovery of groundbreaking potential treatments; and the need to foster innovation and cures.
