- About Zhonghua
Zhonghua Hu, Ph. D., is a Research Associate at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development. His research interests focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying normal brain development and schizophrenia. Dr. Hu received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wuhan University. Dr. Hu earned his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining the Lieber Institute in 2014, he worked in Dr. Zheng Li’s laboratory as a research fellow at National Institute of Mental Health, where he studied the roles of microRNAs in regulating synapse development and plasticity by using deep sequencing technology and live cell time-lapse confocal microscopy.
