Dr. Seungmae Seo, Ph.D., joined the Brain Development Division of the Lieber Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2013. She works in understanding the genetic and epigenetic variations that shape the developmental processes of the brain. Before coming to LIBD, she received her Ph.D. in Molecular Neuroscience from Mayo Clinic, MN, investigating molecular mechanisms of sequence specific transcription factors and co-factors which lead to epigenetic regulation of gene expression.
