Ming Ren, Ph.D., is a Research Associate in Developmental Biology at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development. Her research interests focus on cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disorders, schizophrenia in particular. Dr. Ren received her medical training in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China. She received her Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from Nagoya University, Japan. Dr. Ren obtained her first postdoctoral training with Dr. Min Zhuo at University of Toronto. Prior to joining the Lieber Institute she worked in Dr.Kuan H.Wang’s lab as a Postdoc and Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).
