The National Geographic Channel’s documentary series, Explorer, featured several segments filmed at the Lieber Institute in Season 10, Episode 14 about new treatments for mental illness and the mission to understand the most complex human organ – the brain. In the episode, Dr. Weinberger is featured discussing the history & current state of brain disorder research, and the importance of studying the brain itself.
